Review summary
Worth a visit, well set up, but can be crowded
Definitely book in advance and skip the queue. Once in there is series of fish tanks with a great array of different fish. It was crowded when we visited making it difficult to see and you need to jostle a bit. The main tank is great with a clever conveyor belt to stand on so everyone gets a fair turn viewing. Need just about one to one and half hours. Skip the cafeteria nothing special there. Gift shop is just throw away toys (shame).

Great aquarium with great species to observe
Barcelona aquarium was worth visiting. Lot's of different species including octopus (first time seeing them) and rays (my beloved ones). The place is really crowded but everyone has a chance to have a close look at any particular aquarium. For those who are planning the visit, save your time by buying an eticket. The lines are very long and daunting.
