Full description

Explore the Sagrada Familia on a guided tour with skip-the-line tickets. Marvel at the intricate interior and mix of architectural styles. Hear the history of this ever-changing masterpiece from your guide.

The construction of the Sagrada Familia started in 1882, under architect Francisco de Paula del Villar. In 1883, when Villar resigned, Antoni Gaudí took over as chief architect, transforming the project with his architectural and engineering style, combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms.

Gaudí devoted the remainder of his life to the project, and he is buried in the crypt. At the time of his death in 1926, when he was hit by a streetcar, less than a quarter of the project was complete. The basilica is still unfinished, but construction passed the midpoint in 2010 and it is expected to be finished by 2026, the centenary of Gaudí's death. Visit the Nacimiento façade, the insides of the Basilic, Pasión façade, the Sagrada Familia's school, and if this all is not enough, feel free to visit the Museum of the construction of the temple, after the tour.

If for no other reason than to skip the very long line, this trip was worth the money. But the guide was informative and kept us moving so that we could see all the features of this stunning basilica. My only regret was that it was a cloudy day because he told us how beautiful the colors are when the sun shines through all the stained glass windows.

Our guide was fantastic, I don’t recall his name, perhaps a name tag would be good for those that me who can’t temember names. I did the tour with my wife and didn’t think I would enjoy it quite frankly ... but I really did and I believe that was thanks to our guide who put the story of the building into view, literally and figuratively

It was such a pleasure to join the tour particularly we meant to choose the date as 09.26. on our birthday. The guide JON was super excellent on his job. Clearly explain the details on each part of the building. Not rushing but very minded to bring out the stories. As well bring positive vibes to raise questions to test the member of the tour including us if they know Sagrada Familia on interesting facts. We would say after we once entered the entrance. 1.5 hours visit was worth every penny. We recommend the tour. Garcias!
