The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) is located in the Palau Nacional of Montjuïc, which was built for the International Exposition of 1929. A modern epic This exhibition, organized by the MNAC in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou-Metz and the Musée d’Art de Nantes, reviews the figure of the artist Suzanne Valadon (1865 - 1938), an emblematic figure of bohemian society in Montmartre in the early 20th century. A painter, draughtswoman and printmaker, Suzanne Valadon worked in all the genres, from portraiture and the nude to still life and landscape art.
