According to the description 5 hours - of which 2.5 hours by bus. Almost an hour's free time on the mountain BEFORE the actual tour with the reason "the shops close very early" - but when the tour was over the shops were still open... In this hour you had to decide whether you wanted to walk 25 minutes to the summit cross (with a fantastic view) wants to hike OR wants to see the area around the monastery. Visiting the monastery is limited to 30 minutes including visiting the Black Madonna (long waiting time). 1 hour of free time AFTER the tour would have made much more sense, then it would have been easier to decide what else you would like to see for yourself...

Our guide Daniel was excellent but we would have liked more time in Montserrat. By the time we had done the walking tour and viewed the Black Madonna we only had about an hour and a bit before having to get back ti the bus. We would have liked more free time

We were the only Japanese participants, but the guide worked hard to explain, so we were able to meet Black Maria safely! I also learned that there are many inconveniences if I can't speak English. I think it's seasonal, but it was very cold even in November, so down is a must.
