Full description

Depart from Barcelona and travel in air-conditioned comfort to the sacred mountain and monastery of Montserrat. Upon arrival, visit the monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat and see the Black Madonna wooden carving from the 12th-century known as La Moreneta (The Dark One). Ascend to the middle of the mountain range, and enjoy panoramic views as you ride aboard the St. Joan funicular railway. Then, strap on your walking boots and brave the hike to the summit. Stop to rest when you reach the shrine and enjoy a picnic lunch at a picturesque spot in the countryside. Escape the crowds and discover a little-known area to look for Spanish wild goats and other wildlife in their natural environment. Return back down the mountain and pass more shrines before heading back to the monastery for the return trip to Barcelona.

Fermi ist ein super angenehmer Guide. Sein Job ist bestimmt ziemlich anstrengend. Er hat die ganze Zeit gute Laune und gibt sich echt Mühe. Man kann die Tour nur weiter empfehlen. Er trägt für alle Gäste Getränke und Essen in seinem Rucksack und je nach Kondition variiert er den Rundgang. Wenn ihr mit ihm geht, bittet ihn doch schnell um Wasser, auch wenn eures noch nicht leer ist :) Er erzählt einem viele interessante Dinge über die Berge, Menschen und das Kloster. Von uns gibt es volle Punkte

Die Tour mit unserem Guide Fermi war super und können wir jedem sehr weiterempfehlen!! Wir waren in Monserrat und da die geplante Wanderstrecke aufgrund sicherheitsgründen (Hitzewelle, Feuer,…) gesperrt war, hat sich unser Guide Fermi eine andere tolle Wanderroute überlegt. Die Strecke war wunderschön, mit vielen Wasserfällen, natural pools,… Wir hatten wirklich einen wunderschönen Tag!

Fue una experiencia memorable. Es verdad que resulto ser cansado pero vale la pena. La historia, las vistas y todo cuanto hay es un verdadero tesoro. Nuestro guía fue Fermin quien se portó lo máximo con nosotros. Afortunadamente nosotros fuimos la única pareja en esta aventura y Fermin fue paciente, entendía los límites de nuestro edad y en ningún momento nos pidió hacer más de lo que podíamos. El hecho de que los guías sepan tanto de la historia ayuda a que cada lugar maravilloso se convierta en algo fascinante.
