Barcelona: Hola Barcelona Public Transport Travel Card

Public transport travel card is essential to move freely around Barcellona. Metro and bus. From / to the airport too, without any extra cost. Very good option! I used a 72h option. Starts from the first use.

This ticket was a godsend we travelled everywhere on the Metro and even used it to get back to the Airport. The Metro was clean, safe and so easy to navigate. A must if travelling around Barcelona

This card made our 2 days in Barcelona so much easier, would 100% recommend to anyone travelling to the city. The only tricky part was finding where to collect the card at the airport, as we arrived in Terminal 2C and didn’t realise the tourist information desk was in 2B so had 20 minutes or so of walking round helplessly. It would be useful for the instructions to specify which part of the terminal the tourist information desk is in. I can’t comment on if it’s the same for Terminal 1. Also just to note, this card cannot be used for the A1 or A2 Aerobus shuttle. This was fine for us as we took the public transport bus from the airport into the city but again just required some advice from the helpful staff. Overall, the public transport was absolutely brilliant. We used maps on our iPhone to find which routes to take but the Hola Barcelona app is also handy. This made our short trip so much easier to navigate and meant we could see a lot more in the time we were there!
