  • The tower may be closed according to the weather conditions such as rain or wind
  • To go up the tower, you will use an elevator but to go down, you will use the stairs
  • You will have access only to one tower. It is the monument that decides which tower will be opened for visiting, depending on the day and the construction works
  • During poor weather conditions such as rain or wind, the towers may not be accessible
  • The guided tour lasts 90 minutes, then you can go up the tower on your own, which takes around 30 minutes
  • Please note, that Sagrada Familia regulations state that children under the age of 11 will not receive a headset to listen to the guide

Disappointing because I'd thought I would be able to visit the tower as it is described as 'optional' and this is why I'd made sure I booked. However, on the day all places to visit the tower were taken. Why don't you make this clear before people booked? I'd paid an extra £20 for a guide I didn't need (there are clear explanations on the walls in the cathedral) only because I thought I'd be able to access the tower. You do not make this clear in your promotion or the fact that tickets have to be collected from a shop before being able to enter the Sagrada Familia. This has really put me off booking anything with your company again.

The tour was fantastic, our tour guide (sorry, the lovely lady with blue hair!) was amazingly passionate and well versed. I really enjoyed my time and it was so informative! The price of this was over the top considering the actual price or a ticket--but it was sold out, so I opted for this tour and was not disappointed.

This tour was great, we booked the earliest possible time slot which was great because as we were leaving it was getting very busy. Definitely worth it to add the towers on! You take an elevator up and walk down. The wall down is pretty steep but you can take it slow. We are in moderate athletic shape and did just fine. Could be difficult for people who are not very active/have limited abilities.
