Full description
Enjoy an exclusive sailing experience on board a luxury sailboat and sail to one of the oldest wine regions in Spain, where you'll visit a wine cellar and taste 4 Mediterranean organic wines.   Board a unique and luxury sailboat and travel along the coast while taking in views of Barcelona’s landmarks and skyline. While sailing, enjoy some snacks like olives, chips or crackers and soft drinks, beer, water, wine, or champagne. After sailing, arrive at Alella harbor, and a private transfer will take you to the vineyard. Expert sommeliers will welcome you at this family winery, a beautiful 14th-century structure surrounded by vineyards and the Mediterranean Sea.   Stroll along its vineyards that have been cultivated for 25 years, now cultivated using modern and organic techniques. The wines of Alella have a long history: during the Middle Ages, they were favorites in the Barcelona Cathedral, later becoming one of the quality wines exported from Catalonia throughout the world. After a relaxing morning tasting 4 of their exclusive wines, return to the city in a luxury minivan.

This really is weather dependent because of the sailing and wine tasting. But the wine farm is quaint and lovely, and you aren't spending a lot of time doing nothing. The sailing is by far the best part of this experience. Carry a scarf or shawl if the wind is likely to get to you, you can cover your ears or go below deck.

Very enjoyable day on a 6-8 person powered sailboat that included cava (champagne like), white wine, and charcuterie. The 1.5 hour boat ride had great views and was very relaxing. Our captain was very nice and professional, but would have love to hear him talk about any insight he may have about the city. We jumped on the boat, we went to sea, and then got dropped off at Montgat (north of Barcelona) and jumped into a very nice van which drives us 5 minutes to a private family winery. No one explained what the plan was for the day so we were a bit confused at times. Once at the winery we had an hour long tour about the venue, growing and harvesting the wine, and how the entire process works. Then we sat at a very charming table outdoors which oversaw the beautiful view of the property and area. The wine tour guide showed us how to smell, see, and taste newer vs. aged wine so we learned a lot! Wish her 1 hour tour was 30 mins so we could have more table time to drink/eat.
