We as a couple from Sweden went on this beautiful trip on Sunday. Our guide Jordi, a master guide who is kool, relaxed, fun to be with.. he guided us throughout the trip with lively and happy commentary. We were lucky to see the earlier times cultural festival happens rarely. Jordi gave us enough time to see it. He explained us their great history in detail starting from 10th century including monks, black Madonna, herbs, minor details with their past like far houses up in the hill, funny names of the hill shapes, serrat.. etc. Fantastic adventurous trip made memorable with a good guide, thank you Jordi!!

Jorgi was our guide and he was great, very patient and helpful. I booked this not really understanding was a funicular railway was. Looking at the photo I thought it was a train ride. The view from the top is incredible. The monestery is beautiful. What I didn't catch was the hike to get down the mountain. My hubby has trouble walking on uneven ground. Fortunately purchasing a ticket to ride the railway back down was an option. We did that and met the tour group back at the bottom. Great tour, just know it is quite strenuous walking.

Very good. Hiking shoes are recommended as they are very stiff in some places. Views are fantastic. Go up with the funicular. You have to be able to walk down for 45 minutes. No problem for normal physical conditions. We had an older gentleman in the group. He couldn't climb all the viewing points. But it went down without any problems.
