I would recommend this tour. Upon getting to the meetup point, we did introductions and took a very nice travel bus to the ranch. It took an hour to get there and an hour to get back- we had about 30-40 minutes with the horses, which were mild mannered and amazing for first timers, like myself. I was able to keep a guide with me since I didn’t feel so confident which was awesome because we did a bit uphill and downhill. Once the horse ride was done, our driver promptly picked us up for the rest of the tour which was quite satisfactory. We enjoyed the vendors and having a tasting of the cheeses and local honey. Overall very professionally-ran tour that stayed on schedule. The hosts were personable and quite pleasant. Must try.

cellphone when I got lost. Kept us together and explained the history of the legend of Monserat. The day was extremely rainy and yet we received ponchos and managed to keep the itinerary (hike & horse ride,). The stabel hands were watchful and empathetic to the horses & us humans. I will b returning because it went so well!! So appreciative to Laura our horseback guide too!!

Fun, attentive and knowledgeable guide. Monastery is beautiful. Surroundings breathtaking. Tip is to go in the afternoon, when it is least crowded. The horseback riding was a lot of fun to do. Sweet, calm horses so that even an inexperienced person can sit on them. Horses are well cared for and the guidance is also expert here. In short: recommended.
