There were four of us and we were lucky enough to get a private tour, so to speak. Our guide (unfortunately I don't remember the name exactly - Andre (?) Was top class! He took us through the city, through alleys and streets that you couldn't have experienced on your own. Thanks again for that! The bikes could times being overhauled are no longer the best and one or two bikes could be discarded, but the great tour did not stop.

we had so much fun with Thomas that we did it again

although we couldn't find the starting point the first time around, thanks to our phone and the courtesy of our guide we were able to start. After a 3-hour long exciting tour of the old city we had delicious tapas in a Basque restaurant. Since the four of us had such a great time we booked another tour and on the third day of our trip we took a bike trip into a neighboring small town where Thomas had recommended a restaurant. It's easy to explore Barcelona by bike, and Thomas' knowledgeable storytelling really capped off the experience. An aside: the bikes weren't brand new, but they were in perfect condition, they didn't include any electronic features, but that's not necessary since 24 gears is always enough.
