Good trip. Didn’t like the fact that there was no shelter for the bus queue, which was lengthy, at midday in mid August when it was over 30 degrees, not other than that it was good.

See all the highlights of Barcelona in comfort aboard a double-decker bus. Hop-on and hop-off as many times as you wish during 24 or 48 hours (depending on the option selected) and enjoy the city at your own pace. There are 2 routes and your ticket is valid for both. Frequency of buses at stops varies depending on the season (between 5 and 30 minutes) and each route takes approximately 2 hours.

Your tickets also includes entrance to the Aquarium of Barcelona. The aquarium is the largest Mediterranean-themed aquarium in the world. Discover its fascinating species and immerse yourself in the Mediterranean’s different marine communities. Learn about the most characteristic traits of the species living in each aquarium. Observe two habitats inspired by protected areas on Spain’s coastline: the Ebro Delta and the Medes Islands. Finally, take a walk through the acrylic tunnel that runs the length of the Oceanarium, which gives you the feeling of swimming with sharks.

We really enjoyed the Barcelona Hop-On-Hop Off Aquarium activities. The bus however, was always crowded with people trying to get seats on the top deck. They didn't explain how to use the headphones etc. Connecting them and scrolling through the menu to select your language of understanding. Other than that, it was a great experience. The aquarium was very nice too. The underwater portion were the sharks etc. were swimming above and around the glass enclosure was great. Overall, we enjoyed the activities. Unique foods outside of the aquarium too.
