A classic tablao, the Tablao de Carmen combines the quality of top artists with an original venue, decorated in the style of an Andalusian amphitheater that encourages a close connection between the artists and the audience, allowing you to diner and enjoy a drink while taking in the show. The place, its atmosphere and flamenco make the viewer travel through time and space. The Tablao is located in the Poble Espanyol, an open-air museum that synthesizes the best in architecture, crafts, contemporary art and traditions of the country. Combining a visit to Poble Espanyol with a night of dinner and flamenco at the Tablao de Carmen is without a doubt the most genuine experience a visitor can enjoy!

The Tablao de Carmen is located inside the Poble Espanyol. At the main entrance (the two-tower gate located at Avenida Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 13), the staff will inform you how to reach the Tablao de Carmen. Instructions from Main Square Plaza España by foot: Look toward the top of the mountain with the big MNAC museum. Go through the two big red towers framing Avenida Maria Cristina. Keep walking until you reach the steps at the bottom of the fountains. Turn right at the T-junction at Avenida Ferrer i Guardia. Stay on the main road walking up the hill through the green area. This should take no more than 8 minutes. You'll see the big tower gate entrance of the Spanish Village on your left.

Absolutely the best thing I saw in Barcelona! It was 100% worth the time and money. If it’s in your budget, I suggest the upgrade package. I wish I could give it 10 stars! The performers were absolutely amazing, entire staff was super friendly and the food was good. It should be known that the Spanish Village closes earlier than the last performance…so if you want to walk around, you will need to come way earlier and check the time for closure.
