A spontaneous booking as we had heard from fellow travellers of this beautiful house. We arrived a little early, immediate entry and enjoyed a few hours in the building. The audio guide was informative. There are lots of different activities to do in Barcelona and I think this should be near the top of the list!

Overall was a good experience. After reading many reviews I chose the gold tier package for me and my husband. I personally do not feel that it was worth the money. The tablet was worthless and didn't really add anything and the bar upstairs was closed (was supposed to include a drink). Place was also very crowded with very narrow hallways. Overall would go again, but would get the base package.

It is a must to visit Casa Batllo. I was mesmerized by the attention to detail the whole design of the house. Gaudi was definitely a genius. Way ahead of his time and very much a nature lover. There is so much to take in that you really have to look at every inch of every room. The ceilings, the walls, the apertures and I love how the two shafts change colour as you climb higher and higher. I do think at 45 euros the tour was very expensive. I paid 45 to jump the queue but when i went at 14.30 hours there was no queue ! Maybe cos it was a Monday. Early in the morning the queue was really long! Despite the price I still think it is worth visiting. The audio guide was great and explains in detail every space in the house.
