We met Carla in front of the El Molino theater in Barcelona (11 of us total and all on time) and we walked to all of the scheduled tapas bars in the neighborhood as she shared some of their history. She is a chef and so she was very knowledgeable about what we were to eat. We had about 16 different tapas and 5 alcoholic drinks. She kept us on schedule and we had a large dedicated table at each location waiting for us. If you go, pace yourself in your sampling. By the 3rd tapas bar, I was so stuffed, I couldn’t take but a small bite of each, not to mention leaving wine in my glass, which never usually happens. Carla gave us more ideas for visiting and foods to try before we said buenas noches. She is an amazing and enthusiastic guide.
