What to Expect
Get a unique introduction to the “tapas” traditions of Spain at a hands-on tapas-making class in central Barcelona.
Meet your chef in the popular Gracia neighborhood north of the historic city center. They will be waiting with all the fresh ingredients you will need to prepare a variety of sweet and savory tapas. Follow your chef’s instructions to prepare 5 different hot and cold savory tapas and 1 sweet tapa.
As you work, your guide will explain the history of the tapa and tapas traditions, along with more information about Spanish and Catalan food in general.
Once your tapas have been prepared to your satisfaction, sit down to enjoy the fruits of your labor with a good bottle of Catalan wine or a cold beer.
