We had planned a hike in the city. But we did not get to see much of the city, mostly heard about the history of the city and been a bit in and out of some museums. But the guide was good and it was exciting. The headphone system worked fine.

    Snapshot into Barcelona’s History

This was an extremely good tour. An opportunity to hear about the history of Barcelona and to better appreciate the many influences that have shaped this city over the centuries. This was enhanced by a very knowledgeable guide who provided a detailed and interesting commentary. Large group sizes are generally an issue and although this was a large group it was managed well. Wandering through the winding lanes of the Gothic quarter revealed gems like the Roman ruins dating back 2,000 years that would have been missed if not on the tour. A worthwhile exercise.

    Excellent

Excellent tour, our Guide was one of the best I ever had in all my travels, smart, well educated, rich in knowledge, knowing how to connect the past to the present with a high sense of humour too. Highly recommended for anyone who is interesting in the Roman and medieval history of Barcelona.
