This sculpture will form a circuit 35 metres long by 6.60 metres wide and 5 metres high and 2 metres in diameter. It has a performative nature and will be added to the body of the Museum to draw a new sound route, a new way to inhabit it, travel through it and listen to it. From 25/11/2022 to 11/09/2023 - Mey Rahola (1897-1959). The new photographer Mey Rahola (León, 1897-Vaucresson, 1959) was one of the first women to make a name for herself in the field of artistic photography in Spain. In a very short time, between 1934 and 1936, her hobby took on a public dimension through exhibitions, awards and publications. This, of an anthological nature, follows a chronological itinerary in three stages that reflect the transformations of her photographic practice, which at the same time follows the rhythm of the great political crises of the century: 1931-1936, 1937-1945 and 1946-1959. It is conceived as a triptych that highlights the coherence of a trajectory that is constantly attentive to the concerns of her time despite the historical ruptures. From 14/12/2022 to 29/10/2023 - Donation from Ferran Garcia Sevilla. Tensions and rebellions The artist Ferran Garcia Sevilla (Palma de Mallorca, 1949) has donated to the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya an important body of work from the period between 1966 and 1974. Before his immersion in painting, which made him famous in the 1980s, Garcia Sevilla was one of the most prominent pioneers of conceptual art. With very diverse and radical proposals, Garcia Sevilla used objects, poor materials and photographs, often as documentation for performances. One of his avenues of investigation is nature, from the minuscule, such as simple pine needles, to the cosmic order, based on rhythm and the dynamic forces that determine it. Another pole of his work is the critique of symbolic structures and the violent actions of authoritarianism, which lead him to an implacable denunciation of Francoism. From 07/07/2023 to 05/11/2023 - The guided hand. Josefa Tolrà (1880-1959) - Madge Gill (1882-1961). Visionary women This exhibition presents and analyzes the singular creativity of two women, the Catalan artist Josefa Tolrà (1880-1959) and the British artist Madge Gill (1882-1961). Artists of vast production who never thought of being recognised with this condition, both closely linked to esoteric knowledge and the methodology of the creative act guided by the automatism of the altered state of consciousness: "the guiding hand".

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Barcelona. It was crowded even though we visited in the off season. This was an amazing experience. From the beauty of the stained glass windows to the view from the tower. Rich with religious symbolism I recommend the audio guide and tower access. I am deathly afraid of heights so the trip down the spiral stairs was terrifying. Keep that in mind. Obviously I made it! Next time I will be hiring a professional guide to explain the symbolism and meaning.

Easy booking system, you can use the service in advance or on the day. Sagrada Familia is a little overpriced however when you have a beautiful sunny day and you can see how the sunlight is moving through the cathedral window it is all worth it. Breathtaking stonework

Every objective I see was beautiful, extraordinary arhitecture, nice people who work there, theweather was little cold,,,,its better to visit Barcelona in summer when is hot outside. The Barcelona stadium is huge, breathtaking,,I recomand sincerly to visit the city,,,

This tour was very interesting. Seeing film sequences in front of the original locations is fascinating, even if you're not necessarily a GoT freak, you will enjoy this amazing tour that really makes you get into the medieval times.

Perfect. No surprises. Be ready to undergo airport-like screening and be on time, but very smooth. Entry at 9 or 9h30 highly recommended. I stayed nearly 4 hours and could have spent more.
