Our guide Lorena was very knowledgeable and personable. She along with Daniel and the rest of the crew were terrific. Had a great time. Lunch was delicious in a beautiful room. Wine tasting was informative. Montserrat is beautiful. The mountains are spectacular. Basilica and views are worth the trip.

The trip was wonderful! The full day trip allowed for ample time to explore Monserrat and do a little hiking before lunch. Lunch was a played meal served with wine, and the wine tasting was fantastic. Our guide Susana made the whole day charming and easy!

Overall great trip! If I could do it over again, I'd pick the shorter trip for Montserrat and the winery. Maybe its because it was so hot, but it just felt like way too much time at the winery. It was very nice having someone else handle the logistics of getting there, and learning more along the way. For those who like to know more details - it takes about an hour to get there, you have a guided tour for probably 30 minutes, and then we had about 2.5 hours of free time at Montserrat. The cafe has food, drinks, snacks, and alcoholic drinks. I was a little disappointed we didn't get the free voucher for the monk liquor tasting like the other tour groups, only 3 euro though. The winery is nice, the lunch was decent, the wine tasting is in a cellar room. The tasting took awhile, and then we had an extra free hour to hang out at their wine bar and buy more wine if we wanted. After a long day it felt like we were just waiting to go back to Barcelona with nothing to do but buy more wine.
