Francesco ("Ciccio") was very friendly. He was very relatable and knowledgeable. We did not only get to see the fascinating volcano, the Crateri Silvestri, and a lava tunnel, but we also learned a lot about the volcano, the history of its eruptions, about Sicily, its history, and its language. There was an eruption while we were visiting the volcano, but Ciccio was a very reasonable guide, and we felt safe all the time. We can only recommend it!
