Cross the Bridge over the River Kwai on a full-day tour to Kanchanaburi. Ride the Burma Railway, built by the Empire of Japan to support its forces in World War II. Visit the Tham Krasea Buddha Cave, take a bath with an elephant, and more.
What to Expect
Escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok on a full-day tour to the famous Burma Railway, also known as the “Death Railway” and “Burma-Siam Railway.”

Following a pick-up from your hotel in Bangkok, transfer by luxury van to the city of Kanchanaburi. See the Bridge over the River Kwai, immortalized by the novelist Pierre Boulle and the film adaptation by David Lean.

Visit the JEATH War Museum to get an impression about life in Asia during World War II. Enjoy lunch, before some free time to stroll around the city. Take an optional speedboat tour across the river, and feel the wind in your hair.

Then, drive out of Kanchanaburi city to take a bath with Asian elephants in the river. Cool down from the tropical heat, before riding the famous Death Railway along a section of the track. Enjoy panoramic views as you cross a wooden bridge.

Next, go to the Tham Krasea cave to see the small statue of a Buddha. Return to Bangkok at the end of a long and fulfilling day for a hotel drop off and the end of your private services.
