Enjoy a night of Thai culture at the Joe Louis Thai Puppet Theatre in Bangkok, first opened by Master Sakorn Yang-keawsot who is credited with reviving traditional Thai puppet performance. In addition to traditional Thai puppet performances, the theater also features Thai classical and contemporary dance, modern puppetry, and classical and contemporary Thai music.
Enjoy the classic masterpieces with a variety of puppet performances and diverse acts to spark your imagination. Experience traditional shows about the god and guardian, Narasimha Avatar, with magical theatrical puppetry that will cast a spell on you.
Housing the last of the kingdom’s traditional Thai small puppetry troupes, Joe Louis Puppet Theatre won the “Best Traditional Performance Award” against competitors from 44 countries at the 10th World Festival of Puppet Art in Prague, Czech Republic.

- The theater has two main shows running on different days: The Masterpieces from Tuesday to Thursday and Narasimha Avatar from Friday to Sunday
