I recommend this tour for first-time visitors. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable and informative. I suggest choosing the early morning tour, as it gets quite crowded and hot by noon. We opted for the grand tour, which was plenty, as we were already quite exhausted by the end of our visit to the Grand Temple due to the heat and the large crowds.
We loved this accessible and quick-paced tour of the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha - we chose the morning option. The meet up place was well-organized despite there being a ton of people for different tours. We took the city boat service to the Palace, which was a great way to see parts of the city. Our guide shared tons of cultural, political and historical knowledge while moving us through the complex. She is a local and spoke excellent English. We had opportunities to explore and then rejoin the group. The crowds were dense and noisy, but it sounds like that’s the experience regardless of when the tour is. The tour packed in a lot in a short amount of time and hit all the highlights - it was the right amount of time to spend in a huge place that can feel overwhelming. Great experience that we’d recommend.
