Fantastic tour! Our guide Sam was wonderful. Very organised, informative and funny. He told lots about the history of Ayutthaya and Thai culture already in the bus and even takes photos of everyone at the historic sites. Lunch was great too. With entry fees included this is all in all very good value for money!
I had a great time and Jokey was a friendly well informed guide. The group was not too big as it is a minivan so I met a few people during the day and we had nice chats and a lovely lunch too. Thank you!

Full description
Depart from Bangkok in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, or choose to join the tour at your first stop in Ayutthaya, Wat Lokayasutha. This temple is known for its giant reclining Buddha image, one of the few structures remaining intact in the area.
Continue to Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, which forms part of the royal palace complex, and served as a venue for traditional royal ceremonies. Then, visit Wat Mahathat Ayutthaya, which once housed the Buddha's holy relic. Admire the famous Buddha head entwined within the roots of a Bodhi tree.
Then, enjoy a break for a hearty lunch at a local Thai restaurant, where your guide will be available to advise on local culinary specialties.
Last but not least, finish your trip at the grand, riverside Wat Chaiwattanaram. Marvel at its compelling architectural style, influenced by the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia, as you wander around the monumental grounds.
