What People Are Saying About Bangkok
This was a really great tour, the lady who was our guide was fantastic, she was so informative not only about the food but about things as we walked the streets. The food was very good and we tasted a variety of delicious things. Very worth while, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
This tour is a great way to explorer Bangkok in a different kind of way. You get to try nice places and learn a little bit about Bangkoks History. Especially the introduction to different kinds of street food is very good. Our Guide was amazing and very lovely, I really enjoyed it!
Our guide spoke a superb English (including her pronunciation!) and knew an answer to all our questions. She also told us a plethora of interesting points including details about the food and the places/restaurants we visited. We have learned a whole lot about the various quarters of Bangkok along the tour. Our guide also encouraged everyone on the tour to also try some 'unusual' tastes and foods as well. A hint to anyone going on this tour: Don't have breakfast! ;-) We loved the international group being together on this tour and can only highly recommend this tour - even to travellers having been in Bangkok before! Thank you for an experience well worth the price and time!
Breathing exhaust and being in traffic is Bangkok, so what better place to do it than in a tuk tuk. People riding in luxury buses miss all the street level action seeing the vendors and colorful characters up close and personal. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. At least the tuk tuk got a breeze as it sliced through traffic. The small group tour waste best way to see the city.
Be prepared to sweat and inhale fumes the whole time. But, regardless, this was an excellent way to see the city. Tuk tuks move quickly where tour buses cannot and the personalized guide service was spot on! At least there were breezes and you felt like you really were experiencing the city.
