This four-hour journey weaves through the backstreets and alleys of Old Bangkok to small street vendors and eateries that have been serving hungry locals for years. This tour has been carefully curated by a Bangkok chef, who grew up in the district and visits many of the spots his father took him to decades ago. Thousands of guests have discovered the real food of Bangkok in places they’d simply never find alone on this tour. It's not just about the food though. It’s about Bangkok eating culture, its history, and, most importantly, the people behind the food, who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street. There’s no doubt about it – you’ll most certainly eat well on this small-group tour that’s limited to just eight guests. Some highlights of this 16+ taster menu include working chopsticks over crispy chive dumplings with nam jim jaew sauce, mopping up rich satay sauce with charcoal-grilled coconut chicken skewers and slurping up workers’ noodles in slow-cooked pork broth.

If you would like to see the authentic Thai people and their everyday life, this is the tour to go. As a single lady, I wouldn't have dared to go to the back streets, where the real Thai culture lies. I'm glad that i chose this tour. See it for yourself, slow down the pace if possible to talk to the shop owners and cooks if possible. And take some photos. Unforgettable and highly recommended. Gentle reminder, join with an empty and eager stomach and an open mind.

An amazing experience taking you through the backstreets and alleys of Chinatown, with over 16 different delicious dishes to try along the way! Our guides were very friendly and extremely well organised and opened our eyes to food from venues we would simply would not have found without them. Could not recommend this tour enough.. a must book for food lovers!

Such a great experience that I would recommend to visitors who might (rightly) be intimidated by the sensory overload of Bangkok’s Chinatown. A great blend of culinary and historical insights over the course of 4+ hours. Nut was a passionate and informative guide, keen to tailor the tour and food choices.
