We had a good time with our guide Nuch! She is very professional and knowledgeable, giving us a lot of information about Thailand’s history and how it links to the history of the Grand Palace. We had a wonderful time despite the wet weather. Nuch is also very helpful in guiding us to find our way home individually and even went the extra mile to wait for us to all get on our individual transport before heading home herself!

Our guide was fantastic. She spoke very good English and knew about lots of interesting facts. She even recommended ways to travel and approximate costs so as not to get scammed. I will say that you should only pay for the guide portion and then buy tickets at the palace. I ended up paying and extra 500 baht by doing tickets though travel guru.

The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew was really worth seing, and I was very happy to have Tar as my guide. She was helpful, knowledgable and very attuned to the needs of the moments. We had lots of fun together! She told the history of the Palace in an inspiring way, including different aspects of art, religion and Thai traditions. I apreciated that we also took time to sit down in silence in the temple. I feel very rich after this tour, even if it only lasted for two hours. A bonus was that the guide took a lot of great pictures and sent them to me after the tour, to keep as a memory or share with family and friends. Remember to wear long pants or a long skirt / dress! (Unless you want to buy one of the elephant pants that they sell just outside of the palace)
