Full description
This 3-hour bike tour of Bangkok is ideal for enthusiastic adventurers and those who want to extend their knowledge of Bangkok to its extensive Chinatown, historic capital of Thonburi and hidden backstreets. Starting in the heart of Chinatown, the 3-hour tour explores the frenetic market environment, winding through narrow streets and alleyways. Your senses will come alive to the sights, sounds, and smells of a vibrant community in motion. We will pass by shop houses selling everything from Buddhist amulets to recycled truck engines. Locals worshiping at hidden temples, ritual paper burnings, and the omnipresent spirit house display evidence of a culture that has been centuries in the making. Cross the Chao Phraya River, with majestic views of the city skyline behind you, and visit Thonburi, the historic third capital of Thailand. Contrasting chaotic Chinatown, peaceful elements of local Thai life abound as you cycle through diverse residential communities. Inquisitive smiles and friendly greetings reinforce the feeling that you have truly left behind the beaten path and are now experiencing the authentic Thailand on this thrilling tour of a Bangkok less well-known.

Good tour of hidden areas of Bangkok (mostly china town area). The bicycles are safe to use and use in Bangkok. Tour guides take care of traffic while bicycles are crossing roads. Pam was our tour leader, and she is knowledgeable. We had plenty of food breaks, where we tried different local variety of food. Hence, it became a mini food tour as well :-)

This tour has been a dream of mine for several years. It had rained all night, but a quick call and I had confirmation that it was taking place. The meeting point is easy to find. Everything was well prepared. Nice people. Driving through the narrow streets and markets in Chinatown was a thrill, but great. I would never have believed myself alone. In the beginning we are with the ferry to the other river bank. We saw a monitor lizard in a small canal. Thanks everyone for the safe and beautiful tour.

This tour is a must do if you're able, super friendly staff, well informed and passionate about the tour. This will let you see places that you wouldn't have thought about visiting on foot. We got caught in a storm but the tour guide still soldiered on. Keep your head on a swivel as you'll be cycling through the hustle and bustle of busy Bangkok streets and alleys.
