Full description
This 3-hour bike tour of Bangkok is ideal for enthusiastic adventurers and those who want to extend their knowledge of Bangkok to its extensive Chinatown, historic capital of Thonburi and hidden backstreets. Starting in the heart of Chinatown, the 3-hour tour explores the frenetic market environment, winding through narrow streets and alleyways. Your senses will come alive to the sights, sounds, and smells of a vibrant community in motion. We will pass by shop houses selling everything from Buddhist amulets to recycled truck engines. Locals worshiping at hidden temples, ritual paper burnings, and the omnipresent spirit house display evidence of a culture that has been centuries in the making. Cross the Chao Phraya River, with majestic views of the city skyline behind you, and visit Thonburi, the historic third capital of Thailand. Contrasting chaotic Chinatown, peaceful elements of local Thai life abound as you cycle through diverse residential communities. Inquisitive smiles and friendly greetings reinforce the feeling that you have truly left behind the beaten path and are now experiencing the authentic Thailand on this thrilling tour of a Bangkok less well-known.

Great fun, lots to take in with friendly and informative guides. Only thing I would say is that it was hard to stop and take pics, even though they said we could. The temple visit was amazing ….and the guide went to lots of trouble to help anyone who wanted to take pics there. 10 out of 10 experience

I had my bicycle tour with Peace and York as guides and it was an extremely pleasant experience. We went through alleys I would have never seen exploring less known areas of BKK. Peace was very knowledgeable, kind, and fun and all in all it was a great experience. To be done again.

Sandra was amazing, knowledgeable, and picked some beautiful routes through Chinatown, and the temple areas, as well as some off the beaten path routes that led to interesting people and places. It was nice to see how the city worked and how the people come together for worship, food markets, to preparation of gifts to the temples and Buddha's.
