What to Expect
Explore the vibrant streets of Bangkok on this 4-hour bicycle tour led by an expert English-speaking guide. Bangkok by bike is a great way to explore the lesser-known pockets of the city. Meet locals, peek behind the frantic face of Bangkok, and soak up the unique ambience of the city.
Wind your way through the back streets of suburban Bangkok reaching the famous Rama VIII Bridge. Ride through traditional communities and learn about ancient customs and cultures. Pass the King’s Royal Barges and cycle alongside the sleepy Noi Canal until you reach the spectacular Wat Arun. Here you can admire the intricate architecture and learn about its historical significance.
You will also see Buddhist temples, Mosques, and Portuguese churches. A visit to the Wat Suthat Temple is not to be missed–this is the home to the largest sitting Buddha image in Thailand. Nearby visit the giant swing Sao Ching Cha, which represents the movement of the god Shiva.
This tour is conducted in small groups of no more than 12 people, and will follow an easy route covering approximately 20 kilometers. You will be equipped with top-of-the-range mountain bikes and helmets.
