Enjoy a complete walking tour of the best sights, smells and tastes of Bangkok's Chinatown, a food haven and relatively undiscovered part of the city. Start your tour at the famous Jumbo Lobster Restaurant and head out on your journey of discovery of market stalls, street-side restaurants and gold shops. Visit Wat Mang Korn, the most important Chinese-Buddhist temple in Bangkok, and the old house at the Charoen Chai Community, where you will learn the story of the Thai-Chinese residents of the area. Continue to China Gate and Talad Noi, where you can admire panoramic views of the Chao Praya River. Next, make your way to admire the Talad Noi wall art. Get a snap next to the colorful murals and have a chat with the locals before heading to a viewpoint of the Chao Phraya River and Holy Rosary Church.

    We had a great time with our guide Sunnee. She was born in Thailand and speaks German, that was really great. Since the loop not booked, we were only three. So we had a lot of time to look at China Town and a few other things like temples, shrines, etc. nearby. China Town itself with its winding streets is an experience in itself. The market is impressive, we have seen many foods for the first time. Sunnee also showed us a very traditional Thai Café which we did not visit by ourselves so we got to know the Thai coffee culture. Likewise, we were at the end of the loop still in a street food area on the road and she has given us tips on how to get back to the skytrain. We drove then on the Chao Praya with the taxi ship to the Skytrain. Sunnee was super friendly and we enjoyed the loop very much. You should definitely wear comfortable shoes because in the 4 hours you walk a long way.

    I was lucky to spend 4 hours with my guide Uma in Chinatown 1:1 where we walked thru narrow alleys and busy markets. Saw exotic food and people cheating to get there lucky number in a Chinese temple. We had coffee in a plastic bag and a stunning sunset over the magic river. We visited hidden places and enjoyed the smiles of the local people chattering in front of there living rooms. This is a must do in Bangkok.

    The best tour I have had in Bangkok. My tour guide knew all the best places to see and the easiest route to get there. I definitely got my step count up for this tour. But most of all the variety of food and information in regards to culture was amazing. And best of all I was even more lucky to have my tour guide on a 1:1. And most of all she did the most amazing job of making me look good in pictures even though I was sweaty af. I would definitely recommend this tour.
