Full description
Day 1:
The guide will meet you at your hotel in Bangkok, and then you will travel by van to Ayutthaya. Learn about the history of Ayutthaya by visiting the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum. Discover the artworks and gold artifacts from various periods in Ayutthaya's history and see the relics of Buddha.
Next, join an eco-friendly bike ride to explore the Ayutthaya Historical Park, featured as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. Proceed to Thanatharee, a unique teak wood boat. Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch on board while you cruise along the river. In the afternoon, visit a local community, then have a delicious dinner on board. Stay overnight in a comfortable air-conditioned cabin on the boat.
Day 2:
Wake up early to prepare some traditional Thai sweets called “Khanom”, and to offer food to the monks on their morning alms ceremony. After breakfast, continue by bike to experience the life of local people some more, then return for lunch on board. After lunch be transferred back to Bangkok, where you will arrive late in the afternoon.
