Ella: Trekking Through Sri Lankan Tea Plantation & Picnic

It was an excellent tour, the guide called Sabber, is a super smart guy who explained me very well the whole tour, what is the process of planting, all about the people who work collecting the tee, the culture how they live, I recommend this plan and Sabeer as a guide, he is the best.

It was a super cool experience. Because you walk through the tea plantations yourself, you get a realistic picture of it. Also, your contact with the locals is a lot more spontaneous. We were lucky enough to experience every step of the process (as far as that is possible at this stage) and that made it very special for me. The guide was a spontaneous man who knew what he was talking about. You could ask all your questions and it was great to walk in silence every now and then and enjoy the view. The trekking was fine, even if you are not super well trained. The first part up is tough, but after that it is flat(er) and at the very end you descend again. Again, I would recommend it to everyone! Really had a great day that I will never forget.
