Our driver was Ronald and guide Ketut Aria. It was a group of 5, all girls and we had a wonderful experience. The trip was well organized and ran smoothly from coordinating pickup with the driver via WhatsApp and then being dropped off at the meeting point we were given a nice coffee/tea break with biscuits. Then we went off on the hike that lasted maybe 1.5 hrs to climb to the top. The views on the summit were beautiful and worth the trek. We had a good breakfast of banana sandwich, orange, hot boiled egg and some sort of candy bar which was tasty. Ketut was also super helpful and supportive to help us great some nice pictures of the summit and sunrise. The trek overall sometimes felt a little difficult and had us out of breath but our guide was there the entire time to check in and make sure we were okay and stopped when we needed a few minutes for a break. Overall it was a great experience and Ronald and Ketut were great at making sure our trip was fun. Thank you gentlemen 🙏🏼

Full description
Begin your ascent at the base of Mount Batur after an optional early pickup from your accommodation. You’ll even start your jungle trek on an exclusive path with fewer trekkers around.
Savor the pristine night sky away from the city lights as you hike. After a 2-hour trek, you’ll then be rewarded at the top with sunrise views over the natural landscape and ocean horizon. And even better, you get to enjoy breakfast at the volcano’s summit.
On the way down, you’ll enjoy more vistas, such as Lake Batur, an enormous volcanic crater lake.
You’ll also have the opportunity to stop off for a cup of local Luwak coffee at a coffee plantation before being dropped off back at your accommodation or meeting point.
Before and after your hike, enjoy the exclusive use of Mt. Batur Lounge, the only villa-style lounge around with clean, modern toilets and a comfortable shower facility. After refreshing yourself in the showers, enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee in the lounge.

- Come ready for steep inclines and a vigorous hike. Moderate fitness levels are recommended.
- The minimum suggested participation age is 18 years. Children may join the hike if they have a strong level of fitness.
- Pickup takes place 1 hour-1.5 hours before the starting time, subject to confirmation by the local partner
