9. Nusa Penida to Gili Trawangan/Gili Air/Lombok by Speedboat
If you want a quick and easy way to go from Nusa Penida (Kutampi Pier) to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, or Lombok (Bangsal Port), use a speedboat. Our speedboats run every day. From Nusa Penida, the boat leave at 10:00. The trip takes about 2 hours to Gili Trawangan, 2.5 hours to Gili Air, and 3 hours to Lombok. But it can change with the weather and sea. Get to the port 45 minutes early so you have time to check-in and find your gate. When you're at the dock, get on the cool boat and have a fun trip to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, or Lombok! Some advice: Book early: Gili Islands is really popular, so book your hotel, boat tickets, and hotel transfer early. This way you can get a good deal and won't be let down when you get there. Gili Islands is busiest from June to September. It can be more expensive and crowded. If you want a calmer trip, visit in the off-season. Sometimes the sea is stormy and the speedboats can be a bit bumpy. If you get seasick easily, maybe choose a larger boat. If you're pregnant, you shouldn't use a speedboat.
