Enjoy 3 fun dives at Blue Lagoon on this popular day trip in Bali. Just outside Padangbai is a treasure trove of marine life waiting to be capture by underwater photographers. In addition to diving, take a break and enjoy a fantastic beach barbeque lunch.
What to Expect
Spend your day in Bali doing 3 dives off the waters of Padangbai. See wonderful marine life on this day trip, and wrap it up with a fun-filled and delicious beach barbeque lunch after your dives are done.
After pick-up in your lobby, make your way to Padangbai where you will head out in a boat to Blue Lagoon. Located in Amuk Bay, with Padangbai to the south and Candidasa to the north, it is a treasure trove of marine life.
Head underwater and you will see that the topography is not spectacular: white sand bottom, which slopes gradually, and has scattered rocks, soft corals, and a huge area of staghorn coral. The fish life, however, is amazing! You might see a large napoleon wrasse, and the area is home to several kinds of reef shark, stonefish, moray and blue ribbon eels, nudibranches, rays, squid and octopus, leaf scorpionfish in every hue, and more.
Next, head to Jepun, an extension of Blue Lagoon with a white sand bottom. Expect to see even more fish, as well as shrimp and crabs. If you are a photographer, take advantage of the plentiful marine life with underwater macro shooting.
Once the dives are done, head back to shore for a delicious beach barbeque lunch, featuring grilled fish, satay, salads, and Balinese vegetables and sauces.
