Your first stop is the beautifully painted, 18th century hall of justice, Kerta Gosa in KlungKlung. Then sit back and enjoy the stunning views on a journey upwards through the forests to the mountaintop. Here you find the vast and magnificent Besakih Temple, a Hindu site of great importance, where offerings were made to the god of Mount Agung.
After a gentle descent towards the white sand beaches at the coast, you'll stop off at an original Aga village where you can appreciate the serene daily life, unchanged for centuries. Glance out over the sparkling beaches of Candi Dasa and visit the fishing village at Kusamba. Finally you'll see the incredible bat cave at Goa Lawah, where behind a temple entranceway, the walls vibrate with thousands of bats.
