The experience was absolutely worth the price :) The pick up from the hotel in Jimbaran and the transportation back worked perfectly fine, thanks to Depa! The tour up the mountain was also very nice and our tour guide Kam was making sure nobody was left behind, up and down. He accompanied us all the time and we had very nice conversations. And of course the view is breathtaking and calming when you are sitting at the top of Mt. Batur waiting for the sunrise. After sunrise we could walk around on the top of the mountain and even could see and feel the hot steam of the volcano around us. All in all it was absolutely worth the price and the experience was beautiful :)

A 5***** EXPERIENCE. We were picked up very early by our amazing driver Rapi and brought to the start location of the hike up to Mount Batur. We were lucky enough to have an amazing guide called Sar. Not only was he very experienced, he was also very funny and kept us all motivated till we reached the top. The views at the top are worth the trip alone. It was quite cloudy the day we went up but we still got to see the sunrise which from that hight are stunning. There was a small breakfast provided which was very much needed. At the top we were able to take many photos with our guide making some awesome ones for us. The way down was also super fun running at some points and taking many more photos. If you come to Bali you have to do this trip. It’s awesome and something I will remember for a long time. Thank you SAR and the team.

Full description

Embark on a guided hike up Mount Batur on a day trip from Bali. Watch the sunrise from the top, tuck into a delicious breakfast, and take a trip to a coffee plantation afterwards. Begin your ascent at the base of Mount Batur after an optional early pickup from your accommodation. You’ll even start your jungle trek on an exclusive path with fewer trekkers around. Savor the pristine night sky away from the city lights as you hike. After a 2-hour trek, you’ll then be rewarded at the top with sunrise views over the natural landscape and ocean horizon. And even better, you get to enjoy breakfast at the volcano’s summit.  On the way down, you’ll enjoy more vistas, such as Lake Batur, an enormous volcanic crater lake.  You’ll also have the opportunity to stop off for a cup of local Luwak coffee at a coffee plantation before being dropped off back at your accommodation or meeting point. Before and after your hike, enjoy the exclusive use of Mt. Batur Lounge, the only villa-style lounge around with clean, modern toilets and a comfortable shower facility. After refreshing yourself in the showers, enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee in the lounge.

Our driver andi was really nice! Also our guides Dedi and Rina were incredible! They really made sure we were safe and felt good for the whole hike! They even told us a Lot about the mountains and the history of bali. The hike itself was really challenging, but the view was worth it though! Loved Everything about this trip, even though a monkey stole my glasses when we had our breakfast at the top. So be aware of them! Otherwise 10/10 stars :)
