Full description
Take a private, full-day guided tour of Bali's most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the iconic temple of Pura Ulun Danu Beratan on the shores of Lake Beratan. Following pickup from your hotel or accommodation, journey to the garden and temple of Taman Ayun, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012 and famous for its majestic pagoda-like shrines of the meru towers. Continue to Lake Beratan and stop at the Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, a stunning temple built in the middle of the water as a place to worship the water goddess of prosperity, Dewi Danu. Next, go to one of the most popular restaurants in the area, located on the side of Mount Batukaru, overlooking the Jatiluwih Rice Terrace. Relax in the cool climate of the highlands of Bali Subak, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012 for its traditional subak irrigation system. Complete your tour at Handara Gate, where you'll get breathtaking views of Bedugul Caldera's lush green scenery and beautiful traditional Balinese gate. We did this tour with our tour guide Koman Sparsa. The sites were beautiful, Ulun Danu was my favorite temple of all the ones I’ve seen on this trip, aside from Besakih. Our tour guide was amazing. He was very informative and took amazing photos of us. At ulun danu you can rent traditional clothing and take professional photos. One of my friends did this and the photographer from the rental place was missing in action. Our tour guide stepped in and took amazing photos and videos of her. When they say no one works harder than my Bali tour guide, that is especially true of Komang.

This tour was really fantastic and I highly recommend it. Our guide, Dayu, and our driver, Agung, made the experience unforgettable. Dayu was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to us in great detail, giving us a deeper insight into their culture and traditions. She was also very patient and answered all of our questions. We were really impressed with her enthusiasm and passion for what she does. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Our guide Kadek Karyasa was the best one we could hope for. Patient, adaptable, professional that could really teach us more about balenese traditions. We started with the Tama Ayun temple, really magnificent and rich of history. We finished our morning with superbe view and walk in the Jatiluwih rice terasse. The trip continue further north with Handara gate and the beautiful place of Pura Ulun Dany temple, next to a lake with mountains in the fog - a must see in Bali!! We finished our trip with a visit to a art gallery next to Ubud (it was a special request from us) and a traditional massage. I highly recommand this tour and guide, it was the best day of our stay in Bali
