The tour will begin when you are whisked away from your accommodation by air-conditioned van and driven up to Tegalalang for breakfast. The restaurant features an exquisite view of the green rice terraces. After breakfast, enjoy a ride through the beautiful Balinese countryside where you will see some spectacular views. Ride through an incredible 70-acre bamboo forest and see traditional craftsmen at work, as well as farmers tending to their rice fields en route. The ride also includes a visit to the magical Balinese Traditional Village Penglipuran. Penglipuran is a very traditional village that has its own unique culture and way of life. All of the houses have been built with a nearly identical traditional entry gates. As you ride through timeless small villages you will see the smiles of Balinese children and hear greetings from local villagers. Then, the next stop on our journey will be at the magnificent temple. Enter inside the temple and if there is a ceremony taking place, you will be invited to witness the colorful event while your guides explain to you the significance of the ritual. From there, take a short walk through the rice paddies to see villagers planting and harvesting rice and even join in. Head to a local market in the town of Bangli where you can see the incredible array of exotic fruit, spices, and vegetables for sale. ,Beautiful mountain bike tour through dense bamboo forests and paddy fields, partly narrow paths, only a few roads were used. Gustu the guide had a lot of time for me (I was the only participant), visited a village and temple, 1st break in the courtyard of a local family. Gustu ordered coffee and handed bananas. 2nd break also in a family courtyard, Gustu gave a taste of his musical skills on a traditional percussion instrument. Made stops in between to take pictures.

Fantastic tour, which we modified a bit after consultation with our tour guide Gustu. Since we have already visited a coffee plantation, he offered us a walk through the rice fields of Tegallalang, which was a very special experience, after which we drove another hour to the starting point of the bike tour. There were no further registrations, so we had an exclusive tour. Couldn't be better. Our two guides were able to tell us a lot about the country, people and sightseeing. The bike tour (easy level) led us through bamboo forest, through the village of Penglipuran, the temple complex and through rice fields. The tour is worth every penny. Kind regards, Marita and Lina

This bike tour a bit far from the city is really recommendable and we had a lot of fun. The guides are very helpful and ensure that all participants arrive safely at their destination. Meals are provided. You get a great insight into the life of the locals in the country. Our guide Gustu was also very flexible, at the beginning of the tour (before breakfast) we could walk through the rice fields together.
