Full description

Following a morning pick-up from your hotel at 08:00, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Tegenungan Waterfall. Admire the lush green surroundings and enjoy the refreshing spray from the waterfall. Take a swim if you wish. Next, arrive in the village of Kemenuh at 10:30 and discover some of Bali's finest woodcarvers. Influenced by Hindu religions, the talented artists work on creative designs in woods, such as ebony, hibiscus and teak. Learn about their craft techniques. Then, go to Elephant Cave, also known as Goa Gajah. See the 7-meter tall cave built on the cliff. Admire the entrance figure of a Balinese holistic animal known as "Boma." Look at the beautiful Hindu temples and surrounding plantations and see some of the cave's artifacts. Enjoy lunch (own expense) at approximately 12:00. Continue after lunch to the Tirta Empul Temple at Tampaksiring. Experience the holy atmosphere of the site. Admire the great Balinese architecture around the temples before a transfer to Ceking Rice Terrace in the village of Tegalalang. See how the rice field has been beautifully designed using plantation and coconut trees as ornaments. Take a pleasant walk around the rice field if you wish, before the return to your hotel at around 16:00.

Waterfall was amazing as there was heavy rain at night, rise fields were just harvested so looked miserable. There was also a visit to coffee farm which I liked and a restaurant with a view which I liked even more. While every attraction was really nice I didn’t have anything “wow” that’s why 4 stars. Maybe taking part in temple ceremony would have given me some spiritual experience. Driver was very helpful.

This was a nice experience. My cousin chose this tour and I was expecting bit to enjoy it but I did. It wasn’t the nicest day out, kind of gloomy and very hot, but nonetheless I thought the sights were nice. The tour said it was 8 hours, however it probably ended up being half that time (which honestly I enjoyed because I was very tired by the end of it).

Great!

This tour was great! Our guide, Bisma, was lovely - he was very punctual and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a fantastic day. We wanted to find out more about the rice fields so he came with us and showed us the rice in its different stages, taking the time to explain it all to us. The waterfall was great, loved the temples, and had lunch in a really relaxing setting. We felt like we spent the right amount of time in each place. Thanks Bisma for a wonderful tour!
