We had an absolutely incredible experience visiting Shahdag Mountain Resort on our second day in Azerbaijan! From the moment we were picked up to the end of the day, everything was well-organized, timely, and family-friendly. Our tour guide Zeyneb was truly outstanding — kind, knowledgeable, and very caring, especially knowing we were traveling with a baby and an elderly family member. She made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the long journey, and her commentary during the drive added so much cultural depth to the experience. The scenic drive through the Candy Cane Mountains and Khizi District was breathtaking. But the real highlight was Shahdag itself — the cable car ride, zipline, and the majestic views from the top were simply unforgettable. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere serene, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained.

Full description

Begin your journey with a hotel pickup from Baku and drive directly to the Five Fingers Mountain break point, where you will receive a detailed explanation of the history of the mountains and an opportunity to visit historical the Silk Way Road.
Afterward, the next destination is Candy Cane Mountain where you will have 50 minutes to hike and take amazing photos.

The next stop is the Guba forest Gachresh, passing through the city of Guba. This forest is one of the famous forests of Azerbaijan. Its special feature is that because it is dense, the sun's rays do not touch the ground.

The upcoming destination is the Red Jewish Village where you will have the opportunity to tour the Synagogue (Jewish house of worship).

The last stop is Shahdag Resort Mountain. Here you will have around 2 hours to explore the mountain on your own and enjoy several activities like skiing, roller coaster, cable car, and snowmobile, or grab a meal at your expense.
