Arranged at short notice but got an immediate WhatsApp confirmation from local tour agent followed by guide details etc. Covered sites as advertised. SuggeGiven plenty of time to wander as well as being guided. Idris pointed out details in palace that were not covered in my rereading. Also think at palace especially it would be easy to get lost without guiding service. The boat trip was excellent Best view probably from starboard side. Some flexibility in itinerary and it doesn’t take 8 hours. (Thankfully!).The driver whose name I have forgotten was very smooth and safe. There was some gentle encouragement to shop eg textile , painting. I did agree to the painting and prices seemed similar to elsewhere. There was no hard sell and whilst I initially said I did not want lunch we went for a drink I ended up eating at the restaurant (had planned to visit that evening by coincidence)It’s called the Jhumar. Busy when I arrived but given table with good view. The food and service was good.
