Bagheria

Explore the underwater wonders of the Palermo coast with an unforgettable snorkeling adventure aboard a motorsailer. Benefit from the support and guidance of your marine biologist instructor as you observe the world beneath the waves and enjoy the sunshine and lunch on board. Depart from Marina di Villa Igea and set off towards the first snorkeling spot on a rocky seabed. Stop for an hour to explore the waters around Addaura. After getting out of the water, take a break and enjoy lunch on board. Next, sail towards the splendid and characteristic Gulf of Mondello and take a dip in its turquoise waters.  Continue to Malpasso and Avamposto, and dive into the beautiful waters of the Marine Protected Area. On the way back, take the last dip in Mondello before heading back to Marina di Villa Igea.

Experience your first dive in the sea with a guided experience. Dive into the underwater world of the "Scoglio della Formica" area, a regulated area a mile away from the coast of Porticello. Meet your instructor at the diving center and receive a briefing. Board a boat and head to the "Scoglio della Formica" area. Dive into the water and explore the underwater world with your instructor. Your instructor will guide you step by step and have direct control over your equipment, depth, and direction for the entire duration of the experience. Discover the underwater world of the "Scoglio della Formica" area, a regulated area a mile away from the coast of Porticello. Reach a maximum depth of 6 meters and spend a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes on this experience.

During this tour you will have the opportunity to discover, with A/R transfer service from the FS station, the so -called "Villa dei Monsters" of Bagheria. Splendid example of Baroque architecture, then you will taste the delights of the typical Bagherian street food with a local leader. You will stop in some of the historical and agri -food traditional clubs of the city, where you can discover and get to know the recipes and secrets of the Bagherian gastronomic culture. Along the way, you will visit the historic center and the main Umberto course to taste food delicacies and local drinks. You will taste the arancine, the panelle, the typical Bagherese sfincione, the varied local pastry (cassata, cannolo) or the countless types of ice cream. You will also see some of the famous attractions in the area, such as the Villa Trabia with its garden and Villa Butera.

Why come and cook for me? Because you will learn traditional dishes in an authentic Sicilian cuisine with an authentic Sicilian cook/mother. I live in a house with a flowery garden in Bagheria, which is not far from Palermo. If you want to relax, learn and have fun this is the experience for you. Goditi la Sicilia vera!!! Tra mare, relax e sano divertimento lungo la meravigliosa costa di Mongerbino. Parti dal suggestivo borgo dei pescatori di Porticello per scoprire il Castello di Solanto, per dar vita all'avventura navigando verso Lo Scoglio della Formica e fare snorkeling tra numerosissimi pesci nel mare più pulito della Sicilia per poi continuare verso Capo Zafferano dove potrai ammirare rocce e grotte mozzafiato a picco sul mare passando dalle Tre Piscine (nella top 10 dei posti più belli dove fare il bagno in Sicilia) e tuffarti ancora, continuando la magia e fotografare il famosissimo Arco Azzurro, proseguendo per arrivare nelle acque fresche della Baia dei Francesi così tornando nella speranza di avvistare i DELFINI e costeggiare le grotte e la magnifica Caletta di Sant'Elia e la sua Casetta Bianca. Gustando prodotti tipici locali selezionati, acqua, frutta fresca e prosecco.

Set sail on a catamaran to the Bay of Mondello or Capo Zafferano, depending on the weather. If you head to the Bay of Mondello, pass the caves of Villa Igea and reach them by tender to take a swim. If you go to Capo Zafferano, swim at the beautiful beach of the French or in the crystal-clear waters of Lido del Carabiniere. Taste the famous Palermo fast food and fruit, and go fishing if possible. Learn the basics of sailing if you'd like. Use the SUP to explore the coast and see the colorful waters while snorkeling. If possible, enjoy the incredible sunset of Palermo as you return to the port.
