4. Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour: Cathedral, Financial District & More

This hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour on board a double-decker bus will take you to all the most important sights of Frankfurt, like St. Bartholomew's Cathedral, site of the election and coronation rites of the Holy Roman Empire, and the Financial District, now Europe's most important banking center. Here you can see the European Central Bank, the old Hauptwache – headquarters of the town militia in the 18th Century – and the justly famous shopping quarter, known as "Zeil." And of course there is the Museum Riverbank, one of the most important cultural districts in Europe, containing the Old Opera House, the scene of internationally renowned premieres. We booked this city tour even though we know Düsseldorf very well. We just wanted to see if we could rediscover some corners! And lo and behold - in some places we have actually never been and even to places we already knew, there was information that was new to us with a button in the ear! Düsseldorf in 1.5 hours is highly recommended!

It's a good way to see interesting places and then get back on the next bus. This gave us a quick overview of Düsseldorf. The digital city guide is also very good and works perfectly. Each passenger receives the headphones from the driver. Booking via GetYourGide also works perfectly and easily.

Didn't do hop on hop off just the 90 minutes full tour. The driver supplied me with earphones for a very informative commentary during my time on the bus

Easy to book, good value, free headphones so you can listen to guided tour, QR codes in pamphlet very useful, enjoyed it.

Great way to see a lot of Düsseldorf (especially if not 100% mobile)
