I took the private tour with Edison. He was punctual for pick up (actually he was flexible with me requesting pick up a little later than described). The tour began as soon as we started the drive with him telling me about the different areas of Cuenca as we passed through. His driving was safe and controlled and the hike was at my pace which was a little slow as I recently had injured my ankle. We took our time and he took me on a path without any people on it most of the way so I could enjoy the scenery for myself. After the hike, Edison offered to drive me up to the highest point on the road to a viewpoint which was great. I really enjoyed my day with Edison on this trip and would recommend him as your guide if you visit Cajas!

Diego was a great guide, full of knowledge about the plants and history of the area. Cajas is beautiful on its own, but having Diego’s explanations made it much better. Would highly recommend booking a guide!

We enjoyed the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved what was made. I don’t cook, but I will absolutely try some of the recipes when we get home.

Moisés knew his plants and birds, of which we saw many of both. You can't go wrong with this tour.

Excellent, summarized, new information & recommendations for after the tour
