Ponta Delgada: Pineapple wine tasting and pineapple tour

My family and I had a fantastic experience at the pineapple wine tasting. It was lovely to learn about the history and see a thriving family business. We were a group of 12 and were perfectly accommodated. The wine was delicious, the staff were lovely, and the grounds were beautiful. We will cherish the memory forever.

For all wine lovers,and not,everywhere around the world. This is a must activity to attend with friends, relatives, children and elderly all welcome. The guide was knowledgeable, made the tour engaging with little tidbits and gems of facts scattered throughout the tour. His excitement about pineapple harvesting, was palpable. The tour ends with a bang, the tasting of the delicious pineapple wine 🍍 that anyone that hasn’t tried, should at once. I might not be a wine sommelier, but I have tried wine before and this was the best, hands down wine I’ve ever had. It could be paired perfectly with fresh fish by the sea, with dessert and why not with vegan food. Not to mention we ate the best pineapple jam ever (homemade by the owner’s grandmother). There is a jacuzzi on site where you could enjoy the tasting experience or even your breakfast. 8 boutique rooms overlooking the pineapple greenhouses and garden are available to rent.
