Our guide, Lena was absolutely incredible. She told us all around the western side of the island and gave us a lot of history of the island. The scenery was incredible. The lunch was very good too! I felt a big stress was lifted due to all of the sites that we were able to see on this journey! The only issue I had was that your guide allowed me to book the drop-off same as the pick up point and that was actually not the case . Therefore, if you are to be returned anywhere else other than Ponta Delgada, please be aware of this. We had to take the taxi back to our hotel, which was not a big deal. Just €20 additional would have been good to know this information when we booked the trip. it was a small stumble, but the day was totally worth it! Can’t say enough about our tour guide Lena. She was amazing!!!
Our dinner tour was great! Ivo picked us up right at our Airbnb in logoa, gave great overviews of the different places we went to on our way to Furnas, and timed the activities perfectly. The food at the restaurant he took us too was amazing, even better though was his family touch at the end with a homemade dessert. Thanks, Ivo for a great experience!! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the island.
This tour was great, from the moment Helena picked us up we felt in a good atmosphere, her attitude and service made the tour worth it, she also taught us a lot about the place at no time did we feel disoriented because she guided us very well to each place we went.
Ivo (of Wildscape Azores) was not only gracious, friendly, and accommodating, but also was an encyclopedia of Portuguese history, which I greatly enjoyed. My wife and I would definitely do this tour again!
