Great trip and what an experience at sea. We saw dolphins and blue whales and the staff on the boat were mega good. The guide who drove us around the island was skilled and friendly and he could answer EVERYTHING. We were 4 tourists +1 guide on tour and it was absolutely perfect. The weather was great that day and we took great pictures all the places we were. The lake of fire was beautiful and the hot springs were just what we needed. We ate lunch in a small cozy place and allergies etc. were taken into account. The food was good and so was the atmosphere. We were also on another whale safari with another company and it was not as good as this one at all. This trip can definitely be recommended. It was just such a good day.

We had a great tour of Sete Cidades and the area with Filipe. He was very knowledgeable, and told us why there were SO MANY hydrangea flowers all over the island! Highly recommend this tour. The experience is for 4-5 people, so small private group (in our case, it was just the two of us and Filipe).

After arriving in São Miguel we wanted to kickoff our journey with a tour. Delfim picked us up at our hotel, and what a guide he was! He's enthusiastic, knows all the best sights and gave us a lot of tips about what to do during our stay. I can say he's the best guide we've ever had!

We had an amazing morning and our guide was so flexible, changing the itinerary around to suit the weather better and so that we could get a view of the lakes at Sete Cidades

It was great, we even had some extra time so he took us to a pineapple plantion!
