This 2.5-hour excursion begins with an introduction to cetaceans (whales and dolphins) and other marine species, their natural habitat, communication, migration and behavioral patterns. After the briefing, board the designated boat and head out to sea. The boat will approach the whales slowly and carefully as the naturalist guides and marine biologists on board provide commentary. The boat trip also includes a tour around the Princess Ring Islet of Vila Franca do Campo, for an up-close look at the volcano and resident wildlife. Awesome experience, I was skeptical due to the high price but it was definitely worth it. Employees were very helpful and happy to answer, always looking for the next thing to see. Also kudos for not sticking with one group of animals to let them rest and always maintaining a good distance.

Directly before the tour, some things are explained via video. The tour is conducted by marine biologists who pay attention to the welfare of the animals and also keep a good distance from the animals. Great importance is also attached to environmental awareness and visible rubbish is fished out of the sea. We saw 2 species of dolphins, 2 species of whales and a turtle and were given information about each animal. I can recommend this tour and this organizer without hesitation! It is worth taking part in such an excursion.

It wasn't the first time, but it was like it was. Very good!!! . Although it is a slightly high price, each visit to this island is an important point to make (exercise to see marine species, namely whales, dolphins and turtles). Just a note, keeping Portuguese as the official language is essential to preserve our identity, our culture. Don't forget that the largest number of tourists are from our country (Portugal - mainland and islands),... Just like the Spaniards do. To conclude, congratulations for keeping this activity active even after two years of pandemic.
